Dance In The Dark

She is alone.
The music is all she hears.
slowly approaching,
she feels the rhythm in her ears.

She dances.
though there is no light.
no one else sees
out of thought, but still in mind.

she moves her body
slowly to the beat
she sways calmly
to the sounds of the street.

the music she hears
no one else shall find
because the music she moves to
she creats in her mind
