Description

:iconmur2008: provided this bad ass visual trip.  Each panel is it's own unique scene which is really cool. Page 5 was split into 2 pages instead, but I am titling it as such to avoid confusion.

I don't mean to overctitisize, & I am certainly one not to point this out but nonetheless someone has to,

When dealing with a bunch of different artists, all of whom have their own distinct style & color pallet, I feel it is important that they at-least to some extent try to emulate the same look & feel as their cohorts as to keep a level of consistency between character reasonable.

Diversity is the spice of life no doubt but taming it & applying a little bit of order can only enhance the final product.

Being Issue 1, & being so early in the series,The reader has not been given much context over who these main characters are, & what type of universe they inhabit. This can work fine as part of the storytelling process, as more is slowly revealed about what is going on. But when characters look too different from one page to the next, especially if the transitioning is done in only 1 page, it could be a bit hard on the eyes & even confusing.

I did not read the script beforehand or did any inquiry on this comics content, I am approaching this as the most basic type of consumer.

A Little prequel with some text, like for instance in the first Conan movie or even one of the STAR wars movies can go a long way in clarifying a few key things for the reader that they may need to know to fully grasp the gravity of the situation.

Page 1, the picture of that massive tower, some text running down the main body could really work even as an aesthetic choice.
